The original art of the Sun Dragon
In the grand scheme of things, the Sun Dragon is less significant as an entity on his own than he is as the first instance of a habit I had for many years. That habit being creating a "pair" for my self-representational creatures which is based on a real world person I had feelings for at the time, as a vessel to express emotions with through art.
In this instance, the
Moon Dragon - which was established as my mascot not long before I started dating my first boyfriend way back in 2005 - gained a pair in the form of a sun-based counterpart that same year. The relationship was short-lived (at least the initial "real" one - there was a bit of that on and off nonsense thereafter, which also saw the dragons swapped for other creatures anyway), and as such the Sun Dragon was not drawn all that many times. He did join ol' Moony as an occasional guinea pig for new types of art, however.

The second half of the aughts was peak "put song lyrics on things" era, so naturally here's a forum signature and a wallpaper.
In 2010's 100-image book assignment (which I used as a loose telling of the history of Kina), several old characters cameo at the beginning.
